Well, it'll be 7-10 business days before my BrickArms comes! Hooray! No pictures because I haven't gotten them yet. Duh. But my Ibara Dado Attack vignette/display is underway, so it'll be done soon!

Luxurious Bed
Yes, I'm back! This bed is pretty old though. I made it in August but never bothered to post it. So anyways, here it is...

A minifig can fit in comfort, although not in the middle because of the 5-wide construction.

No Goldilocks syndrome here! (see below image) The bed is exactly the right size for a minifigure, unless they're wearing Nute Gunray's hat.

It's pretty tall with a minifigure standing next to it, but it'll do. Let's just say it's a... um... Victorian era bed! Yeah, that'll do. Victorian bed.

I am at a loss for words for this picture. I just don't know what to say. Hmm. It's a bed?

The basic underside construction.

Well, that's all for now.

Tri-Monthly BrickFilm
Well, here's the first Tri-Monthly Brickfilm. What this is about is every three months or so, I'll put on a BrickFilm that I like. Sound good? Okay! Here we go...
(Disclaimer: this was not made by me. Although I wish I had that certain selection of pieces and also the amount of skill, I don not. Although I'm currently working on a BrickFilm of my own...)

Customer Service Prevails!
It's here! It's here! It's fina-lully here! For you who don't get that, check out Homestarrunner. Anyways, a month or two ago I ordered some replacement parts. Two days ago, it came! Names and addresses have been digitally blurred to provide extra security.

A closer look shows that the end has been ruthlessly ripped open.

It was like this when my parents handed it to me. They said they thought it was government stuff, something about customs. But the sharp eyed reader can see that the green part clearly says:

TOY PARTS. But the thing that I just don't get is that it came all the way from the states. But the Lego distributor for Canada is in Richmond Hill, just a few hours drive from here. And the base of operations for Canada is Markham, just outside of Toronto, also a few hours from my house. Oh well. Hey, there's a letter inside! Let's see what it says.

Hmm. Boring old pre-printed letter with your name filled in the blank. Nothin' special about that. But wait! What's that at the bottom?

Kimberlee?! That must mean that there's a real person sending this letter! Or some employee named their computer Kimberlee. Sorry about it being sideways. I tried to fix it but it didn't work.

There's something else inside the crappily-photographed envelope! Let's pull it out!

Hey! It's those *cough* missing *cough* stickers for City Mini-Figure Collection! Now I have to go and find the pieces in my recently downsized collection. But not before adding another post to make up for the long wait between this post and the last.

Fire Ambulance to the Rescue!
Well, here it is, as I promised: An ambulance! Let's start with this little establishing shot:

As you can see with this mugshot, I built it so that it can mesh perfectly with the official Lego City sets.

It also has a skylight and a door on the back. A door is essential to all ambulances, of course. How else are you supposed to get the patients in?!?

Hey look! The door can open. Also essential.

Another nifty feature is the skylight can open. Also essential because you can't actually fit my stretcher in through the door.

Speaking of the stretcher, here it is!

It can snugly fit a minifigure and has a pillow for extra comfort.

Instructions are below, if you want to make it.

You can also kinda shove the stretcher in through the door for an action-packed MOC scene. Or just to show how great your LEGO city's healthcare plan is.

I also added a crappy looking IV. I've had many bad experiences with an IV before. Like when they duct taped it to my arm and ripped it off after they... But I'm getting off track here. Notice you can actually fit a whole person and the stretcher in there.

Also notice my crappy excuse for paramedics that kinda look like construction workers. Yes, I'm a slacker.

You might be wondering why I didn't make it white. Well, white's boring. And I don't have any good white car-building pieces. But I'll be getting a new camera soon, so the pictures will be in full HD! Once I get 400 greenbacks of course. But then again, Canada has weird money colours. Like purple and red. And blue.

Messing Up At The Falls
Well, the title says it all. I went to Niagara Falls, Canada and went to a lovely little attraction called Brick City. It features a giant Lego city built by some Polish guy over 5 years. I took over 100 great photos of it and came home. I put the memory card in the computer, left it in for a while, then my slightly autistic brain took over. I created and firmly implanted a false memory of me loading the pictures on. I then proceeded to take out the memory card and delete every picture off of it. And that's why there's no pictures. I'll add my two-month old fire ambulance sometime soon, like in the next week.

Biff Boffman, Space Explorer
Facing danger with an unsettling smile, exploring the deepest reaches of space with no fear, and always managing to get home before bedtime...
It's Biff Boffman, space explorer!

I wanted to make a spaceman using that trans-clear globe I've never found a use for. Although I have made some frog-mechs inspired by Matt S, I've never used the globe for a helmet. Yes, I did take the elastic-band technique from Nadroj, this time it's a bicycle tyre obtained from last post's bike.

Biff stands at least a foot taller than regular minifigures, thanks to his neck boosting air tanks and also the 1x1 plates on his feet.

The three pieces used in the ingenious helmet.

Biff dons his helmet, ready to explore the mysterious asteroid designated R-Zero-K 9.
But still, importnt questions remain... What will next post be? Will I ever make a spaceship for him? Is there possibly a comic strip coming? Tune in next time to BrickWasp to find out...

Important Personal Life Update
Hey everybody, just a quick post before a creation on whenever. I've recently taken up the time-consuming hobby of N-Scale model railroading, so I won't be pumping out as many creations. Just for you to know.

Set Review: 7639 Camper
Well, here it is, just like I promised yesterday. A set review. Yawn.
Today's set is number 7639 Camper. There's a link to it on yesterday's blog. Just looking at the box, it's a pretty nice looking camper.

If you are smart, like me, you'll realize it's a redo of Surf N' Sail Camper. Here's the picture.

So anyway, back to the review. The overview promises a small camper/R.V. with at least a chair inside besides the driver seat.

And, looking at the picture below, Lego didn't disappoint. Actually, they passed the standard. Two chairs!

The accessories are slightly lame. Two mugs. Bleh. A bike. Cool! A surfboard that I'm not excited about because I have no idea what to do with it. A pot. Bleh. And lastly, a fish on a glowy trans-red grill-tile. Really, Lego Company. I could do better. I would have at least made a decent grill!

Guy: (speaks in monotone voice) Wow, I never knew a fish on a glowy red thing could be so exciting.
Girl: (speaks in monotone voice) This is even better than the Fireplace channel!

I think this is supposed to be some sort of bed. I'm not sure, but the girl figure can't fit in it because of her awesome hair.

At least they added a ladder on the back.
My rating of this set:
7/10 for pieces
10/10 for playability
10/10 for minifigures
4/10 for vehicle itself
5/10 for acessories
All in all... 8/10. A pretty good set, but obviously more geared towards children under 10. Well, that's all for today. I'm off to modify the set and listen to some Gorillaz.

Hello Everybody!
Hello everybody and welcome to the first post of Brickwasp. This website was originally going to be named BrickHornet, but someone obviously heard about that and for a mean joke stole that name before I turned thirteen and could get a blog. Wich, incidentally, happens to be today! Well, once I take pictures and have time I shall post a set review of 7639 Camper. Well, that's about it. Now off to go persuade my parents into letting me buy Sports Car!
Ciao!
